I'm Caleb Baragar, founder of Revive. Before this, I spent a decade playing professional baseball across the MLB, Mexico, and Taiwan, including a franchise record with the San Francisco Giants.

The idea for Revive didn't start in a conference room. It started when I realized my own dermatologist hadn't contacted me in 4 years. My optometrist in 3. My dentist in over a year. Not because they didn't care, but because nobody had built the system to catch it.

I asked my mom why this happens everywhere. She's been a dental and periodontal assistant in Michigan for 40+ years, so if anyone would know, it was her. Her answer was the unlock. Clinics aren't negligent. They're running at full speed for 8 straight hours, stealing 5 minutes for lunch, trying to serve the patients right in front of them. The data is right there in the system. Nobody has the bandwidth to act on it.

Each participating clinic is the sender of record for these messages; Revive acts solely as the HIPAA-compliant communications platform that delivers the messages on the clinic's behalf.

Patients provide express written consent to receive these text messages by completing a patient intake form at their clinic. The intake form includes a dedicated SMS Communications Consent section identifying the clinic as the sender, with required TCPA disclosures. A sample of this consent language is available at revivecarerecovery.com/consent.

Every SMS message includes opt-out instructions. Patients may reply STOP at any time to opt out, and opt-out requests are processed immediately and permanently across all future messaging from that clinic. Patients may also reply HELP for assistance.
